Between Kathmandu and Pokhara are three major groups of peaks: Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu and Himal Chuli and the large Annapurna Himal. This trek is ideal for those wanting to escape from the more popular regions of Annapurna and Everest. It is famous for unspoilt Tamang culture, spectacular views of mountains and colorful rhododendron forest. Treks in the Ganesh Himal region are designed to introduce you to a broad spectrum of life in different Nepalese communities and varieties of beautiful scenery. You may visit base camp of the Ganesh Himal where there are two lakes _ Black and white . Twin waterfalls Ganga and Jamuna, bring joy to your heart. This trek is recommended by many trekkers though it is not as popular as Annapurna and Everest. Visit this area in March and April, and you will see the mountainsides red with magnificent Rhododendron blooms_ Nepal’s national flower. Visit Gorkha, the birthplace of modern Nepal. This was the home of King Prithivi Naryan Shah, who fought many wars to unite the tiny kingdoms spread throughout the land now known as Nepal. His Palace can be seen on the top of the hill at Gorkha. This area is also the homeland of the original of Gorkha Warriors. The Ganesh Himal trek begins at Trishuli, a four hours drive from Kathmandu and ends at Gorkha, a six hour drive to return to Kathmandu. Ganesh Himal is one of the bitten path trekking route nearest from Kathmandu in the central eastern region of Nepal. It can be seen the Ganesh Himal chain Kathmandu Valley. This region is very rich in Flora and fauna. Mean the while this area is reach for Tamang Culture observation. Flowers like primula, orchids, rhododendron can be seen along the route. The route passes through forest of oak, blue pine, rhododendron, villages, gorges and glaciers. Mountain view of this route is Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu and Ganesh Himal, Langtang Li Rung (7,225m) and Paldor. Ganesh Himal Gorkha trek is difficult level.

In the morning after breakfast at 9 AM, we host a Pre-Trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduced your trek Guide mean time and it will provide an opportunity for individuals to ask questions about your trek and to introduce you to other participants. This includes a final briefing and preparations for the trip. Please advise us if you will be arriving late and are therefore unable to attend the pre-trip meeting.

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU (A)
Airport representative of Eco-friendly Trek will meet, well-come you with flower beat and transfer you by private vehicle to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure to adjust to the culture shock of medieval Kathmandu, with its bustling bazaars interspersed with shrines and temples and interesting architecture. In the evening you can either eat in at your hotel or venture out to one of the many restaurants in Thamel. Overnight.
DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN KATHMANDU 3 HOURS (A,B)
KATHMANDU 3 hours Half-day sightseeing to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple & Pashupati Nath Temple. All are world cultural heritage sites listed by UNESCO.
DAY 03: DRIVE TO BETRAWATI, TREK TO SALANGKHU KHOLA RIVER SIDE (A,B,L,D)
We drive to Trisuli in the morning and have lunch near the Trisuli Electricity dam. After lunch we walk for about 3 hours to Salangkhu Khola for our over night camp.
DAY 04: TREK TO BALCHE (A,B,L,D)
An easy walk and then a short climb take us to Kalawale village for lunch. After lunch we proceed to the big Tamang village of Balche for our overnight camp.
DAY 05: TREK TO FOREST CAMP (A,B,L,D)
An easy walk from Balche village through a forest and camp with the peaks of Langtang Lirung and Gosainkunda in good view.
DAY 06: TREK TO RUPCHET (A,B,L,D)
We walk through rhododendron forests this day to camp at Singla or Rupchet. Rupchet is a cattle pasture and Singla is the pass. The Singla pass offers spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Boudha Peak, Himal Chuli, Machhapuchhre, South Annapurna and Annapurna II.
DAY 07: REST & EXCURSION (A,B,L,D)

DAY 08: TREK TO PANGSANG (A,B,L,D)
We walk up the Singla hill following small trails to Pangsung for our overnight camp from where the spectacular view can be seen.
DAY 09: TREK TO SOMDHANG (A,B,L,D)
We follow the ridge for our campsite of the day; Shomthang from where we can see very close view of Ganesh Himal.
DAY 10: TREK TO JOGESWORKUNDA LAKE (A,B,L,D)
Now undertake a gradual climb for the day to reach our campsite at Jogeshwarkunda Lake.
DAY 11: REST AND EXCURSION (A,B,L,D)
Rest day: People interested can do rock and peak climbing above (5000m) on this day.
DAY 12: TREK TO LINJU KHOLA (A,B,L,D)
This day we start our descent to Linju Khola for our overnight camp.
DAY 13: TREK TO SERTUNG (A,B,L,D)
We walk down through pine and rhododendron forests to Shertung village, fully a Tamang culture village and set up there our camp.
DAY 14: TREK TO BORANG (A,B,L,D)
A short flat trail and then a gradual descent passing through Borang village followed by crossing the Akhu Khola takes us to Laba, a big Tamang village.
DAY 15: TREK TO MONGEYTHANTI (A,B,L,D)
A slight climb to cross a hill and then descend through forests to camp at Mongeythanti.
DAY 16: TREK TO DUMCHET VILLAGE (A,B,L,D)
A gradual walk down through forests with lunch by a stream brings us to our camp at Dumchet village.
DAY 17: TREK TO BASERI (A,B,L,D)
We take a gradual walk this day to Baseri and camp near the Budhigandaki river.
DAY 18: TREK TO ARUGHAT BAZAR (A,B,L,D)
We walk along the bank of Budhigandaki River and stop at Arughat Bazar for the night.
DAY 19: TREK TO KHANCHOK (A,B,L,D)
We gradually climb the Khanchowk Danda crossing the Moti khola for our overnight camp.
DAY 20: TREK TO GORKHA (A,B,L,D)
We cross a ridge this day and walk gradually up hill to Gorkha and our camp will set near the old palace.
DAY 21: MORNING SIGHTSEEING IN GORKHA AND DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU (A,B,L)
We have a sightseeing tour of Gorkha Palace, the palace of the King Prithivi Narayan Shah who united Nepal in 1881 AD and visit the Bazar and then drive back to Kathmandu.
DAY 22: AT LEISURE IN KATHMANDU. (A,B)
Time for shopping, relaxing, writing the postcards you forgot to send, and catching up with your diary. Overnight at Hotel
